In the Summer of 2023, after two years of successful and rich collaboration, in a continuation of this collaborative spirit, UC Berkeley under Allen Yang’s ROAR group has agreed to take on the role of the Lead University in the AI Racing Tech Team. This transition marks a pivotal moment as the team acknowledges a changing of the guard.
However, it’s important to note that while leads are changing, the core team remains unchanged. With an appointment through UC Berkeley UH’s Gary Passon will remain as AI Motorsports PI, providing valuable continuity to the team’s leadership. Fans can expect to see all their favorite team members return ensuring continuity in our pursuit of advancing AI racing technology.
