OpenARK is an open-source wearable augmented reality (AR) system founded at UC Berkeley in 2016. The C++ based software offers innovative core functionalities to power a wide range of off-the-shelf AR components, including see-through glasses, depth cameras, and IMUs.

Gold Medal at 2018's China Internet+ Innovation and Entrepreneurship
OpenARK research team, Joe Menke and Allen Yang, presented at 2018’s China Internet+ Innovation and Entrepreneurship competition where the team won a Gold Medal.
"Pengram uses both augmented and virtual reality to “holographically teleport” an expert to assist on a task involving a physical object in another location. The expert, wearing a virtual reality device, can work in the virtual world on a virtual model of the object that needs fixing, such an engine."

"Pengram, the UC Berkeley team made of student from the Berkeley Master of Engineering (MEng) program, Berkeley VR Club, and Center for Augmented Cognition, won first place. Pengram is an AR/VR platform which allows engineers from around the world to be holographically ‘teleported’ into a workspace when needed."
